Seattle based psychedelic rockers, The Black Planes, just released their debut LP in digital format on July 3 2018. The vinyl release will follow in Late September. Produced by the legendary godfather of Seattle grunge Chris Hanzsek, TBP takes psychedelic rock into a darker, fuzzier place, laced with hooks that will haunt you long after just a single listen. So many Psychedellic artists are trying to create something conceptual out of revival by sticking to the fundamentals. The Black Planes have gone in a completely different direction and incorporated some sublimely filthy synth that even purists wouldn’t even be able to deny adds something to the soundscape.
